Restaurants & Bars within walking distance of AT&T Stadium
So, it’s game day and you’re on your way to the Cowboys’ Cathedral. There’s a good chance you’ll be throwing back a few beverages during the game, and you’ll be doing some snacking as well, but how about something before the game? Or hang around a bit after? Here’s a list of some of the local spots to eat or grab a beer before or after a Cowboys game, all less than a mile from AT&T Stadium:
About 3/4 of a mile North of the Stadium on Collins Street, just before Interstate 30 is the Lincoln Square shopping center. For a stop before the game, or on your way out before hitting the highway, consider these options:
- Boomerjack’s Grill and Bar serves sports bar fare and reasonably-priced beer
- Sherlock’s Baker St. Pub & Grill is part of a chain of English-themed game pub restaurants
The absolute closest venues are just across from AT&T Stadium on Collins Street to the east or Randol Mill to the north.
- The Fishbone Grill & Sports Bar offers seafood and non-seafood fare and a full bar.
- Tailgate Tavern is a sports bar with food and a college-like atmosphere. There is a charge for parking on game day, and they also takes reservations in and at the bar, so pre-gaming can be tricky.
If you don’t mind a quick ride or a little walk to work off some of those excess calories, from the stadium you can head south down Collins Street to Division Street. Head west along Division to:
- Milo’s Bar – A great “dive” bar to just hang out and play some pool or throw some darts (but there is smoking).
- On Tap – If beer is your thing, this place is it! No food, but 50 beers on tap. (There are “to-go” menus available.)
Another block south along Collins Street and you’ll find yourself at Abram Street. Heading west along Abram will bring you to:
- Hooligan’s Pub – A craft beer & cocktail bar, so you have options there, but they don’t have a kitchen. (“To-go” menus are available.)
- Division Brewing – Homey, comfortable brewpub. No kitchen, but like the others, you can order in. Sometimes there’s a taco truck in the parking lot.
- Mavericks Bar & Grill offers American casual dining, a full bar, and a reasonably-priced shuttle to AT&T Stadium if you’re not up to walking the 0.8 miles back.
